About Me

Tabetha Rae

Hey there, I’m Tabetha Rae! I’m a homemaker and soon-to-be stay-at-home mom, living in the heart of Central Texas with my husband and our three fur babies. On a sunny day, you’ll catch me outside, either out on a walk or throwing the ball for my dogs. On a rainy day, you’ll find me cozied up with a good book (and probably a glass of sweet tea). I’m a sucker for baking, especially when I get to add my own twist to pre-written recipes—and I’m an expert at just “winging it” when it comes to cooking.

I made the decision to become a homemaker at the start of 2024, all in an effort to take better care of my mental and physical health. After going through some tough, undiagnosed health issues that kept me from working and even driving, I found myself battling with depression and anxiety. But I’m slowly but surely working my way back to a healthier, happier place—and I can’t wait to share that journey with you.

At the center of it all, my faith in Christ is the foundation that holds me up. God has carried me through some incredibly difficult times, and it’s only by His grace that I’m where I am today. I know I’m not perfect, but my faith helps me keep striving to be better every day, and I want to share how it shapes everything I do—from the way I love my family to how I approach each new challenge.

I started Life With Rae to create a space where I can share the ups, the downs, the failures, and the triumphs of my life. From cooking mishaps to family adventures, I want to inspire and motivate you to try new things, step outside your comfort zone, and embrace the beautiful mess that is life. Whether you’re in the mood to tackle a new hobby, try out a simple recipe, or just need a little encouragement, I’m here to share what’s working (and what’s not) in my life.

My goal with this blog is to be real and relatable—to show that life isn’t always perfect, but that’s what makes it beautiful. Through all the challenges, joys, and everyday moments, I hope to help you feel like you’re not alone on this journey. I believe that with faith, love, and grace, we can make it through anything.

So grab a glass of sweet tea (or water, if that’s more your style) and join me on this wild ride of learning, growing, and living life to the fullest. 🌿
